During a journey through East Java with the IndoTrip Designer tour company, I explored some of Indonesia’s most dramatic and raw landscapes, moving between active volcanoes, remote roads, and early-morning ascents.
This project was driven by immersion rather than schedule — chasing light, weather, and atmosphere across locations like Mount Bromo, Ijen Crater, and the surrounding highlands. The result is a visual exploration of scale and solitude, capturing East Java’s unique contrast between human presence and overwhelming natural forces.
